A new month started already, but I still want to recap the last two weeks on Instagram for our Selfie spcecial. Here are my favorite snaps/ chats:
It’s a selfie video where she talks to the people criticising her for not being #plussize anymore. Here is her responce:
Too how for you? Come on, you can handle her pictures….
Well, I could rather use a #Macaron, but a cupcake will also be fine. 😉
Talking about the struggle to be pregant and plus size…
Having another baby has been a beautiful process & at times, frustrating. As I enter my 8th month, my body overall looks the same other than my belly & I'm okay with that. What I've had to be learn to be okay with (WHICH IS NOT COOL) is the fact that people still think it's okay to comment on my body: "you don't look pregnant", "you must be have quadruplets", "you are putting your baby at risk" & a slew of other uneducated statements that are very far from my reality 🙄. When "celebrities" are pregnant in the press, they look glamorous, toned & are eager to talk about how they are going to get the baby weight off. While I've done my best to look as put together as possible, that's not real life, & it's not for most women. I'm not the first plus size woman in the public eye to have a baby & share it with the world, & I certainly won't be the last. However I'm part of a small minority that's telling you it's okay to not have a perfect baby bump, or not show at all, to be plus size & have a healthy child, & most importantly to find a care provider that doesn't shame you about your size. It's also okay to tell someone to fuck off when they give you unsolicited advice about what's "best" for you & your baby. As women, we know what's best & that's our business.. No one else's. 👑 #effyourbeautystandards #theresnowrongwaytobeawoman #32weeks #babyhollidayontheway

This is our christmas post for this year. We at Style and Curve joined forces with Artist Fernando Ferreiro from Spain to look for the ten #beautifulFACES 2015…not an easy task I might say.
Fernando Ferreiro says “From an artistic point of view, the beauty of a female face depends on several factors. Technically, a beautiful face should have a correct bone structure, symmetrical, well aligned eyes, provided nose, high cheekbones, suggestive lips and balanced jaw. But the technique is not everything. The beauty also comes from within, although it sounds like a cliché. The charisma, the personality, the ability to seduce with a single glance at the camera, the confidence, also define beauty, sometimes more than mere anatomical perfection. These intangible aspects of a woman’s face are those that provide me more artistic inspiration because a perfect face can be also impersonal, but a face with charisma, whether or not perfect, there will always be more attractive.”
Here are his choices although there are many more, it was very hard to choose. The models are in no specific order, they are all beautiful in their own special way. We hope you agree and support our selection.

“Curvy is the new Sexy” is the Campaign of Cenia New York’s 2016 Full Figured Spring Collection and we at Style & Curve are so happy that the model chosen for the Campaign is one our favorite models Ana Garcia. Ana, who was one of our choices for the 2015 hottest curvy bodies, is a freelance model who shot this last Summer Sydney’s Closet 2016 Bridal Collection, and has worked with great brands among them Sorella Swim, also being one of Artist Fernando Ferreiro’s Muses who will exhibit her portrait “Ana and the Sea” in Cordova, Spain in May 2016.
Designer Cenia Paredes announced recently that her designs will go up to size 24W which is wonderful. Something huge is coming their way that will give a 360 degrees turn around giving the brand an international projection. I am sworn to secrecy, and can’t wait to share. Cenia has started her shoots in New York and Puerto Rico is one of her next stops to shoot some of the new Spring Collection. I will get behind the scenes pics and an exclusive interview with the Designer that has all my respect because she supports women of all shapes and sizes acknowledging that a Full Figured woman can look just as beautiful as any other one that are on the smaller size in her Designs.
I hope more brands will do this, giving us Fuller Figured ladies more options to look and feel sexy.
Michelle Brasher’s Campaign #beautyhasnosize shot in Puerto Rico!
Every woman is beautiful no matter what shape or size they are and that is a fact! Designer Michelle Brasher owner of Be Inspired Boutique and sister company Notion + Grace from California has also joined the movement of celebrating each body type. Brasher is a firm believer that any women can look and feel sexy no matter what shape or size. Her designs range from S to 3XL.
Take a look at their recent collection: http://beinspiredboutique.com/new-arrivals/?sort=newest
The campaign is named #beautyhasnosize and was shot at Old San Juan Puerto Rico, a city characterized by its narrow, blue cobblestone streets, and flat-roofed brick and stone buildings and beautiful parks. Plus Model Magazine also went to the beautiful Island to shoot a cover this year. The models who worked the campaign were Curvy model Ana Garcia who just wrapped up Sydney’s Closet Bridal Shoot 2016, and was among the 10 beautiful curvy bodies 2015 chosen by Style & Curve, Petite Model Naneishka Marrero, San Juan Beauty Show Image 2015 and Angelica Vazquez a Fashionista that feels confident with her body. Photographer Apolonia V. was in charge of the shoot.
The Designer put the models in the same outfit to show that each one looks beautiful, petite, curvy, tall, short whatever size they are.
We think more designers should promote their collection by presenting them in different sizes, because the consumer can relate more to the product. And the images are just stunning.
Cheers your Lyz Lupo from Style & Curve :*

“In life, as in art, the beautiful moves in curves.” by Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton
We couldn’t agree with the words of Edward. All these models / bloggers stand for the new curvy beauty. They get shared in the international media and inspire you curvy girls to be proud of themselves and their bodies.
Style & Curve promotes international curvy models since two years. And I am working on our first magazine issue with Silvana Denker as our cover model. Make sure to follow us on Facebook for the latest updates:
